I had the first class of my last semester in school yesterday. It's been fun but it went by too fast. I painted this in Providence during the first semester of freshman year. It pretty much sums up how I feel about my time here.
This is the installation I did for the RISD Museum two years ago. The guns are made out of polystyrene foam. I still have a couple of them if anyone is interested.
The first thing I remember knowing, Was a lonesome whistle blowing, And a younguns dream of growing up to ride On a freight train leaving town, Not knowing where I'm bound, No one could change my mind but Mama tried.
I did this about three years ago. I made these big cigarettes and put them where people usually toss their butts. If you look in the last picture you can see a ton of butts in the top middle of the pic. Hahaha. The reactions were priceless.
I'm pretty sure this show is over now but it was really cool. It was for the book release of "Miami Graffiti. These are the paintings I did for the show. I also did some walls in the back courtyard of the gallery.
